Description
You know it only too well, the parking heater in the Marco Polo runs through the night, the people downstairs in bed are too warm, but up in the sleeping roof of the Marco Polo there are frosty temperatures. The warm air from the parking heater is not circulated upwards into the sleeping roof - and that's now a thing of the past!
The parking heater extension for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo is simply clicked onto the seat console from behind and is held in place by a neodymium magnet. This means you can quickly remove the magnetic parking heater extension for the pop-up roof and only plug it in in winter or when required.
The Click and Heat parking heater extension is easy to stow away and is about the size of a Bialetti coffee maker, see photos. In our Marco Polo, the heating hose fits into one of the Front Runner panniers for the rear pull-out, see photos.
No holes are drilled, nor are any panelling parts on the vehicle destroyed. The entire auxiliary heating extension for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo sleeper roof is supplied ready to plug in, including all the necessary parts.
The heating air inlet duct of the parking heater extension has been designed so that the heating hose does not require a fan. No additional power is required, approx. 60% of the warm air is transported into the upper bed, approx. 40% of the heating air flows under the driver's seat.

Installation and handling of the Click & Heat parking heater extension
Insert the supplied hanger with the key ring through the loop of the black strap of the bed suspension, thus securing the suspension. The suspension can remain permanently on the vehicle. The hanger supplied can also be used for other items such as car keys etc.
Once you have arrived at the desired parking space, click Click & Heat onto the seat console, hook the end of the heating hose for the sleeping roof into the hanger provided, switch on the parking heater and you're done.
Important: Remove the hose from the auxiliary heating extension BEFORE folding in the pop-top roof to avoid damaging/crushing the hose.
Only use the heating hose when it is extended, otherwise heat may build up.
When using the auxiliary heating extension, remember that the thermostat is located at the bottom of the passenger's B-pillar, so set the auxiliary heating to approx. 14 degrees, which is approx. 19 degrees in the sleeping roof at an outside temperature of 0 degrees. We recommend taking the remote control for the auxiliary heating up into the roof bed to switch off the auxiliary heating if necessary. On models with MBAC, the auxiliary heating can be controlled by mobile phone, provided you are within Bluetooth range.
Depending on the desired sleeping temperature in the roof bed, you may need to try out and regulate a little. For really cold and windy days, we also recommend the pop-up roof insulation.
