Our roof cam set ensures safety when travelling and during everyday driving. The position of the recording is determined by the integrated GPS receiver. The integrated 3-axis G-force sensor ensures automatic recording in the event of vibrations when stationary or accidents while driving.
Integrated WiFi enables control via your smartphone and storage on a microSD card.
The Marco Polo dashcam set contains the following items:
AMPIRE dual dashcam in 2K (Quad HD) resolution, WiFi and GPS
AMPIRE dual dashcam DC2-PRO with high-resolution 2K (QUAD-HD) front cameras and microphone for recording at the front and rear with storage on an optional microSD card (32-128 GB) and complete operation via free smartphone app. An integrated GPS sensor enables positioning and speed determination. The 3D G-sensor integrated in the front camera recognises accidents and automatically saves events on the microSD card. You can view and export the recordings on your smartphone or tablet via WiFi. All settings can also be conveniently made using the smartphone app.
Visually, the matt black DC2.PRO dashcam is rather small and unobtrusive. An LCD display and unnecessary buttons and lighting have been deliberately omitted. Installed behind the interior mirror, the front camera is barely noticeable. The rear camera can be used to monitor the passenger compartment or rear traffic.

Important note for MPs from 2021
For Marco Polos facelift model from 2021 with MBUX / MBAC, the rear dashcam must be mounted from below, otherwise it will no longer be in the field of vision of the rear window. Westfalia has enlarged the black privacy strip in the rear window of these vehicles. In this case, the roller blind can only be used to a limited extent. The roller blind can only be used when the tailgate is closed. In this case, we recommend the use of a rear window insulation for the Marco Polo.

Important note on installation
The GPS antenna integrated in the dashcam requires free reception to the GPS satellites in order to be able to calculate a position or speed. Windscreens with insulating glass have an infrared-reflecting metallic coating. In such vehicles, position the dashcam in the communication window provided for this purpose in most vehicles, which allows GPS reception. You will find more detailed information on this in the car's operating instructions.

To arrange a workshop appointment, please use our contact form. This will provide us with all the relevant information so that we can send you a quote and an appointment proposal as quickly as possible.
Payment for smaller workshop orders (daily appointments) is possible on site by EC card (no credit card, no cash). Alternatively by bank transfer / prepayment.
For larger workshop orders, where your vehicle stays with us for several days, we will send you the invoice by e-mail on the day the vehicle is handed in, with a request for payment by the time the vehicle is collected.
If you wish to return the vehicle outside our business hours, please use the key drop-off point, which is located next to the left-hand garage door, below the letterbox.
Please throw the key into the tube below the letterbox, NOT INTO THE MAILBOX.
To make your stay in the Rhön as pleasant as possible while your Marco Polo is in our workshop, we would like to give you some ideas for accommodation and activities.
If you have a workshop appointment, you can order dispatch items when you create the order using the contact form. The items will then be ready for you in the workshop for your appointment. If you need the dispatch items before your workshop appointment, please order them via the webshop.
Workshop items are not dispatched, installation takes place exclusively in our workshop.
Your Marco Polo is safe with us, in the alarm and video-secured workshop. Your vehicle is also insured against vandalism, theft, water, storm and fire during its stay.
Vehicles that remain with us for longer after completion of the job are stored in external garages with shore power connections.

If you wish to make changes to your order, please let us know in writing at least 6 weeks before the deadline. This will enable us to create the necessary capacity in our workshop and ensure that the required material is available for your order.
Workshop customers can park another vehicle or trailer in the gravelled area (Peter-Seifert Str. 8, 36129 Gersfeld) below the workshop during the agreed appointment period.
The gravel site is owned by the garage and is not towed away. The car park is freely accessible, not secured by an alarm system and only partially under video surveillance. We accept no liability for vehicles parked on the site.
