Votronic charge booster / charge controller for Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo, Horizon, Activity W447, perfect charging while driving for your campervan
The Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo has a regulated alternator (Euro 5 and above). This ensures that the battery is charged poorly or not at all.
The Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo has a regulated alternator, which ensures that the vehicle's batteries are charged poorly or not at all while driving. By installing the charge booster / charge controller, we prevent the alternator from switching off and ensure that the starter battery and the body battery of the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo are charged with up to 30A.
The charge booster is mounted under the driver's seat of the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo and is not visible. The original battery cut-off relay is therefore superfluous.
Why install a charge regulator?
- Optimised charging characteristics for acid, gel, AGM and LiFePO4 batteries (AGM is originally installed in the Marco Polo, we mainly install LiFePO4 batteries)
- High performance for short journeys
- Significantly improved energy balance of the on-board battery / body battery of the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo
- Particularly recommended for vehicles with Euro 6 standard as alternators are regulated / switched off
- Temperature sensor that prevents the LiFePO4 batteries (if installed) from being charged at excessively low temperatures
Recommendation

Your parcels are collected by DHL lorry from Monday to Friday, daily from 15:00. Our shipments do not have any detours via post offices etc., but go directly to a DHL distribution centre in Eichenzell (in the middle of Germany).
