The sleeping area extension for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo / Activity / Horizon W447 & Viano Marco Polo W639 provides significantly more sleeping space in the upper bed in the pop-top roof. A customised insert in the access hatch enables the positioning of several cushions and accessories. The otherwise open space can thus be fully utilised and the space gained can now be used as a bed or storage area.
The easy-to-handle mechanism allows the sleeping board to be inserted precisely into the access opening in front of the upper sleeping area. Whether as an additional lying surface or storage area. The storage space and the resulting protective device are an advantage. In addition, pillows, duvets or other objects can no longer fall down or slip out of place. The upper sleeping area is discreetly closed and covered.
The ultra-light construction made of robust honeycomb material is highly stable and can support the weight of 2 people. Ultralight, small and easy to fold, the sleeping board can be stored anywhere. We recommend transporting the sleeping board spread out lengthways on the roof bed. However, no more than the Project Camper cab insulation and the sleeping board should be transported on the roof bed.
We have adapted the sleeping board from the manufacturer to our heating hose concept. This provides a passage for our "Click & Heat" auxiliary heating extension into the pop-up roof. By using the heating hose, the air is not blown out directly next to the head. This means less air noise from the heating hose.
Optimised sleeping quality by covering the access opening, eliminating the incidence of light from the lower part of the vehicle and reducing the heating noise from the auxiliary heating fan under the driver's seat.
Instructions for sticking the holder:
Clean the area around the USB socket with the cloth supplied. Glue the holder in place, lower the roof and only use the sleeping board after approx. 24 hours, by which time the adhesive will have set.
