We recommend Click & Slide as an optional accessory for the transport base. This system prevents the bed fittings from locking into different positions. This makes it possible, for example, for the headboard to engage in the first position and then be folded down. It is no longer necessary to set up the bed completely.
We have developed an additional storage compartment for the Mercedes-Benz Viano Marco Polo, in which there is enough space to safely stow two of our camping chairs.
The compartment is also suitable for other camping utensils such as the Skotti grill, the shower, the toilet or the Project Camper sleeping mats.
The storage compartment is located above our Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo rear pull-out. The storage compartment is perfectly matched to our rear pull-out, see photos.
The transport tray for the Viano Marco Polo W639 has an internal dimension: width of 88 cm at the rear towards the seat bench and 89 cm at the front towards the tailgate. A width of 56 cm and a depth of 6.5 cm.
The maximum loading height under the storage compartment is 27.5 cm from the floor of the Mercedes-Benz Viano Marco Polo.
The material of the storage compartment consists of 2mm thick sheet metal which is laser-cut, edged and then powder-coated. The storage compartment is simply placed on the frame of the unfolded bed from above and holds there independently.
