The optimum continuous power solution is a modified Nespresso Camper coffee machine. To ensure a sufficient power supply, the installation of a solar system, lithium battery and charging booster is also recommended.

The inverter is connected to the body battery and fused. We work here with an inverter with a mains priority circuit. This means that no additional socket needs to be installed. If your Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo is connected to the mains power at the campsite from outside, the inverter loops the connected power through to the socket in the kitchenette of the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo. If the vehicle is not connected to the mains power, the inverter generates the 230V voltage for the socket in the side panelling.

To ensure the necessary protection, the voltage converter is connected to the original RCD.

The 230V / 600 Watt continuous load, 1200 Watt maximum load for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Horizon and Activity is installed behind the side panelling, so the inverter does not take up any space in the vehicle. All cables are also concealed. The only visible part is the external control unit / remote control which we install above the original 230V socket in the side panelling of the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo Horizon & Activity.

An intelligent power-saving control system with automatic switch-off enables both the undisturbed operation of powerful 230 V consumers and small, sensitive devices with minimal battery consumption. Numerous integrated protective circuits, robust power electronics and intelligent microprocessor technology ensure very high overload capacity (consumer start-up currents) with high operational reliability even under adverse operating conditions over a long period of time.

In addition to the operating status, six LEDs in the remote control also indicate the power range in which the appliance is currently operating. Of course, the device can also be switched on and off completely using the remote control. As a special feature, our inverter for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo has an integrated mains priority circuit. It ensures that the mains sockets in the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo are automatically supplied with shore power when shore power is available and the inverter switches off completely, thus no longer drawing power from the battery. If the Marco Polo is disconnected from the external power supply, the inverter automatically resumes supplying the 230 V consumers.

The inverter can only be installed in a Marco Polo Horizon & Activity without a Jehnert sound system or subwoofer. In vehicles with a Jehnert sound system, the subwoofer is located where the voltage converter is installed.

Payment for smaller workshop orders (daily appointments) is possible on site by EC card (no credit card, no cash). Alternatively by bank transfer / prepayment.

For larger workshop orders, where your vehicle stays with us for several days, we will send you the invoice by e-mail on the day the vehicle is handed in, with a request for payment by the time the vehicle is collected.

If you wish to return the vehicle outside our business hours, please use the key drop-off point, which is located next to the left-hand garage door, below the letterbox

To make your stay in the Rhön as pleasant as possible while your Marco Polo is in our workshop, we would like to give you some ideas for accommodation and activities.

If you have a workshop appointment, you can order dispatch items when you create the order using the contact form. The items will then be ready for you in the workshop for your appointment. If you need the dispatch items before your workshop appointment, please order them via the webshop.

Workshop items are not dispatched, installation takes place exclusively in our workshop.

Your Marco Polo is safe with us, in the alarm and video-secured workshop. Your vehicle is also insured against vandalism, theft, water, storm and fire during its stay.

Vehicles that remain with us for longer after completion of the job are stored in external garages with shore power connections.

The gravel site is owned by the garage and is not towed away. The car park is freely accessible, not secured by an alarm system and only partially under video surveillance. We accept no liability for vehicles parked on the site.
